For store bought Chocolate Chip Cookies, these are terrific! Tate’s Bake Shop gluten-free cookies are super crunchy. I ate almost an entire sleeve in one sitting. I couldn’t walk away. To my surprise, these super crunchy cookies had hardly any crumbs.
We got this box from Costco (42 cookies for $9.99) and all the cookies were whole. Not one was broken. There were no crumbs in their plastic sleeves. How often can you say “not one cookie was broken?” I did recently find these at my local King Soopers. I got a little excited since they had a few different kinds in the gf cookie section, but with a closer look — there was actually only one gluten-free product. Boo! I really wanted the chocolate chip with walnuts. Oh well! Look closely at the packaging, its exactly the same with the exception of a gluten-free banner. I didn’t even notice the difference until later. I was blinded by tasty treat options.
Tate’s does carry three other gluten-free cookies, a Double Chocolate Chip, Ginger Zinger and a Chipless Wonder Cookie, which is a chocolate chip without the chips and a hint of caramel — sounds delicious, right? I can’t wait to get some of those! You can order Tate’s cookies directly from their website, along with gluten-free gift baskets and other gluten-free treats.
Tate’s Bake Shop is a member of the Celiac Sprue Association and manufacture their gluten-free products in a dedicated gluten-free facility. The facility does process walnuts and has this clearly stated on the packaging.
I definitely recommend these cookies to all the chocolate chip cookie lovers out there.
