What makes a good cookie dough? The raw dough of course. I know, I know… you’re not suppose to eat raw cookie dough. But I like living on the edge. Pillsbury Gluten-Free Cookie Dough makes a yummy raw cookie dough. Oh, and a great quick cookie. What I really like about the Pillsbury Gluten-Free Cookie Dough is that is great in a pinch, not that making cookies from scratch is so time consuming, but it’s nice to be able to skip all that mess and clean up and just bake some gluten-free cookies.
Pillsbury suggests that you can get about 16 cookies, but that may vary on the size of the cookie and how much dough you eat before it gets to the oven. It’s also important to point out that Pillsbury doesn’t have a dedicated facility for their gluten-free line. On the Gluten-Free Living website, a Pillsbury spokesperson stated that “General Mills uses “stringent” programs to prevent the risk of cross-contamination, and has taken specific steps to ensure that the process and equipment used does not provide any opportunity for gluten or gluten-containing ingredients to get into its products.”
I found this Pinterest page that has other recipes that use Phillsbury’s Gluten-Free Cookie Dough. Some of them look pretty tasty, especially for the upcoming holidays.
