We are getting ready to go snowboarding next week. So excited! I hope I remember how to do it. LOL. Last year while we are at Beaver Creek, I found these nut bars. I really like my Kind Bars, but they can get to be expensive. Nature Valley’s Nut Bars are responsibly priced and delicious. If you like nuts. If you don’t, then these are not for you. These make the perfect snack for on the slopes or any where really. They are about the size of a granola bar and fit right into my jacket pocket. They can even with stand a few falls in snow without breaking into a million pieces. Gotta love that!
I’ve only had the Almond Crunch. I haven’t been able to find the other gluten-free nut bar Nature Valley has. It’s a Peanut Crunch, which seems like it would be tasty too. The Almond Crunch is made up of a mix of almonds, peanuts and sunflower seeds and has about six grams of protein. The nuts are covered in a sweet syrup that hold it together. It can be a little sticky, but nothing a few licks can’t take care of.
If you like nuts and are looking a snack that you can toss into your pocket or purse, give these a try.
