MELT Organic Buttery Sticks are wonderful! I made some Oatmeal Pecan cookies using the MELT sticks. First off, I finally had a moment to sit down and figure out what I was going to make using the MELT sticks. I took the sticks out to soften and it was probably half the time to soften than regular sticks of butter. Which I personally think is great! The sticks blended perfectly into the batter with only a hint of coconut smell, which I was loving at the time since we were about six inches into our snow storm. When I tasted the cookie dough, I could barely taste coconut. While they were baking, there was a slight aroma of coconut, but not once they were cooled or when I devoured about half a dozen in ten minutes. Simply wonderful to work with and a healthier alternative to butter. (Recipe to come!)
Rich & Creamy MELT Organic is a creamy and smooth butter improvement made with virgin coconut oil and a hint of sea salt. This healthy alternative cooks, bakes and melts just like butter. I used this on toast and melted a couple tablespoons in the microwave to make the Gluten-Free Breaded Garlic Shrimp. It melted smooth and stayed melted while I assembled my little shrimps. The gluten-free breadcrumbs stuck to the shrimp as well as butter and I didn’t notice any coconut taste – just yummy little Breaded Shrimp dipped in Cocktail Sauce. Tasty!! When I used it on my toast, straight out of the refrigerator, the Rich & Creamy MELT spread easily across the lightly brown toast and melted as soon as it hit the warm bread. It made eating gluten-free toast tasty again. Next time, I need to a little cinnamon sugar!
Probiotic MELT Organic is one of their newest products. And it’s simply delicious as well. I didn’t notice a difference between the Rich & Creamy and the Probiotic. Chocolate MELT Organic is velvety smooth and oh so chocolaty. This one I was a little unsure of. Only because of personal peference, chocolate isn’t my favorite. When I opened the container, it has a lovely chocolate aroma. It melted into my toast, just like regular ol’ butter and tasted just like melted chocolate. This didn’t change my mind on chocolate, but I definitely see where this would have a fighting chance. MELT recommends using this in your brownies, cupcakes, icings and fillings to enhance the chocolate flavor. I can definitely see this a benefit and boosting the chocolate the flavor.
Honey MELT Organic is deliciously sweet without all the extra calories. Only 1 gram of sugar per serving, Honey MELT Organic is sweetened with organic wildflower honey and cinnamon. A healthier alternative for your sweetened butter uses and recipes. Did you know that in Koreans are making this tasty snack called Honey Butter Chips? And now have moved on to Honey Butter French Fries. Sounds amazing and a heart attack waiting to happen. I used MELT’s Honey MELT to make my first taste of Honey Butter French Fries. I have to say – pretty tasty and very sweet. The recipe is simple.
- Your favorite French Fries (I love Shoestring)
- Honey MELT Organic Buttery Spread
- Sea Salt
- Bake your favorite french fries according to the package directions ( I like to sprinkle with some sea salt before placing in the oven)
- Melt a couple tablespoons of Honey MELT in a large skillet over medium heat after french fries are done baking
- Once melted add in French Fries, using tongs mix well to coat all the fries with the melted honey butter
- Serve warm.
It’s a great line of healthy alternative buttery spread for individuals who are on a special diet or just want to eat healthier. The taste was amazing on everything I’ve tried it on. It’s was replaced in the recipes I tried with ease. I would definitely recommend this product and will be using again in the future. The soft smell of coconut somehow melts all the stress away.
