Ice cream in an ice cream cone and gluten-free. I can’t explain the excitement I had when I found these babies at a local gluten-free grocery store. Let’s Do…Gluten Free Ice Cream Cones are awesome! They remind me of the traditional cones I got as a kid. Crispy, crunchy and light with the similar texture to a “regular” cone. They are packaged extremely well with six cones per sleeve and not one was broken. The cone itself held up to my double scoop of dulce de leche ice cream and didn’t fall apart when I bit into the cone or get soggy while I slowly enjoyed my first ice cream cone in years. For being gluten-free, they are reasonable priced, 12 cones for $3.99 through Let’s Do’s online store. While I was visiting their website, I also found they have Sugar Cones and Dessert Bowls that are certified gluten-free. Really? Options!
You can also find these products on Amazon and maybe able to get a better deal on shipping or at your local grocery store. I shop at both Safeway and King Soopers and haven’t found them yet. It never hurts to ask the manager if they can start carrying a product.
I am extremely happy with this product. It made my day to enjoy an ice cream without a spoon and the race around the cone to ensure nothing dripped.
