King Arthur Flour Gluten-Free Banana Bread Mix is mix that can be used for bread or muffins. I found this mix to be bland, even after I added walnuts and sprinkled sugar on top. The banana favor was very subtle. I prefer my banana bread/muffins to be filled with banana flavor.
I used the mix per the directions on the back and only adding walnuts into the recipe. The mix is super easy with only about 5-10 minutes preparation and can be mixed by hand. Simply stir together the melted butter or oil, eggs, milk, and nuts in a large bowl, pour into the pan or muffin tins, sprinkle with sugar (optional), bake and enjoy.
On the King Arthur Flour’s website, the some reviewers added an old banana to the mix, as well as chocolate chips. The reviews are either love it or hate it. I probably won’t try this mix again and would just make my Gluten-Free Whole Grain Banana Bread instead.
