Cottage cheese swirled in apple butter and banana slices sprinkled with sunflower seeds. Great way to spice up your cottage cheese with a healthy twist.
I have to admit, I’ve been eating rather bad lately. Wings, 7-layer dip – oh and all the candy and sweets from Christmas. I almost ate a whole pumpkin pie (again) by myself and a molasses cake…I think I need extra time at the gym over the next couple weeks to work off all those peeps, gummy bears and sweets. Of course feeling guilty, I went through all my magazines in search for healthier recipes to kick off the new year. I came across this and wanted to try it. It’s been dog-eared since Spring 2008. It was tasty and very easy to throw together. All goods things for morning.
- ½ cup cottage cheese
- 1 tablespoon apple butter
- ½ banana, sliced
- 2 teaspoons sunflower seeds
- In a bowl or take-away container, place ingredients in order and mix well.
